ABOUT US

Anthill Road Productions is a young female-driven writers collective & works as both a writers room and a showrunning unit. We produce the content we would like to see ourselves and create a working atmosphere of creative cooperation. The aim of Anthill Road Productions is the sustainable development and production of high quality & high concept series and film projects for the German market with international appeal.

Anthill Road Productions sees the German film industry as a living cosmos and sees itself as a link between creatives, content and audience. Anthill Road Productions focuses on quality rather than quantity. This is reflected in our small team, our focus on long-term relationships and the development of selected projects that are close to our hearts. We actively focus on collaboration and want to play our part in discovering and promoting talent.

Our international team gives us a fresh perspective on Germany and its stories, as well as a direct line to the international markets. At the same time, our bilingualism guarantees us high-quality versions of our concepts and scripts in English and German.

Helena Hofmann

AUTHOR & Producer

Award-winning screenwriter and producer Helena Hofmann is an alumna of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Serial Eyes and UCLA Extension. She brings over ten years of production and development experience in the international film and television industry to Anthill Road Productions, tirelessly trying to juggle kid and career.

Her credits include WILD REPUBLIC (Telekom Magenta), MIRELLA SCHULZE RETTET DIE WELT (RTL) and SCHON TAUSEND MAL BERÜHRT (ARD).

Leonie Rudloff

Producerin

Leonie’s love for film and media stems from her childhood obsession with acting. At 18, she moved to London to study Method Acting, which only fueled her fascination for film, and led her to do her bachelor’s degree in Film Studies & English Literature at Oxford Brookes University.

She followed this up by acquiring her master’s degree in Mediaproduction: TV Drama Production at Salford University, Media City UK, where she graduated with a distinction. After returning to Germany and before assuming her current position at Anthill Road Productions, Leonie drew a circle in TV commercials and branded content around the globe.

Annika Cizek

AUTHOR

Annika Cizek is a screenwriter and a childless cat lady. Her credits include SCHWESTER, SCHWESTER, BECK IS BACK and the production FAKING HITLER, which won the 2022 Television Award for Best Drama Series.

The mystery series KALTSTART for KIKA, which she co-conceived and co-wrote, was awarded the White Elephant in 2023. Her romance project FIND ME won the 2024 Series Camp Writer's Vision Pitch Award and is currently in development. She is a participant in the 2025 Serial Eyes cohort.

Myriam Utz

After studying acting at the renowned MUK Vienna, Myriam Utz initially worked for several years as an actress and voice actress for theater, film and radio - with moderate success. In 2017, therefore she decided to leave the stage to pursue her passion for storytelling.

Since then, Myriam Utz has worked as a freelance screenwriter for UFA Fiction, Olga Film, Caligari Film, Blue Eyes Fiction and Producers at Work, among others.

Her credits as a screenwriter include “Schwester, Schwester” (RTL), “Aurel” (ZDF / funk), as well as several films in the successful ZDF series “Der Kommissar und der See”.

Born in Crete, the young Greek was drawn to the German capital as a teenager. Henry quickly left the streets behind him, but he has never completely lost a certain street smarts.

At Anthill Road, his activities include barking, cuddling, losing hair and persistent grooming.

Laura Tunbridge

Script Editor

Laura Jayne Tunbridge is a BAFTA nominated writer, a director and a script editor. Her work includes BAFTA nominated Night of the Living Dread; Other Half, which was selected for competition as part of la Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival 2021; and Requiem, starring Bella Ramsey, which won an RTS Award.

As a director, Laura was selected as one of six filmmakers to take part in Disney’s inaugural short film incubator scheme Star Imagine UK. Laura wrote and directed comedy-horror Nights, starring Susan Wokoma, and the short premiered at the London Film Festival. In 2024 Laura shadowed director Elliot Hegarty on Series Two of Cheaters in an opportunity supported by Clerkenwell Films and BBC Drama.

Laura is working across various original series commissions with companies such as The Forge Entertainment and See-Saw Films. Most recently Laura wrote episode four of comedy-drama series Sweetpea, starring Ella Purnell, for Sky Atlantic and Starz in the US.

Aoife Bradshaw

AUTHOR

Aoife Bradshaw is a screenwriter developing film and TV projects across the European market. In 2020 she was selected as the first Irish participant for the DFFB's ‘Serial Eyes’ programme, where she worked with international showrunners developing original series concepts. Immediately after the course she was commissioned to write the concept for a new four-part crime series.

Currently, she is the head writer for an upcoming narrative console game (Xbox/Playstation) inspired by Celtic mythology. Aoife has an MA in Screenwriting for Film and TV from Ireland’s National Film School and was awarded the Writers’ Guild of Ireland Award for Screenwriting in 2018 for her feature script, 'The Changeling', which is now in development.

Creative together! As a female writers' collective, we develop stories with passion and professionalism. We work closely with production companies, broadcasters and authors and are always open to exciting projects and collaborations.

The team for your project is not yet complete? You are welcome to book us as staff authors.
You have a project, but need a complete team to take over the writing process and, if desired, creative producing.
Your production company would like to develop our ideas and concepts in a collaborative partnership.
Is your project not working the way you want it and you urgently need someone to join you in the Writers Room for a few days or to look at an existing script with a fresh eye? We offer Script Doctor/ Editing and Writers Room Sessions on a daily rate basis, without making any further demands on the project.
Do you want to generate several ideas for tenders etc. in a short space of time, but have neither the capacity nor the author base to implement them asap? Depending on your needs, we can organize, write ourselves and/or bring in certified authors from our environment and develop several ready-to-ship one-pagers within one day.
